Fatman Acceptance Month: Fan Art Contest

runningman

UPDATE: Winner announced

All throughout 2019, we have been celebrating The Year of the Running Man, in honor of the best boss in the entire Metal Gear franchise—Kojima said so himself—and because the film “The Running Man” takes place in the year 2019.

But what if we told that Running Man had a spiritual successor? One worthy enough to borrow this celebratory year for one month? One that needs our acceptance in these troubling times? An atomic, wine slurping, bomb maniac on roller skates, with a beautiful vision of the world?

We, of course, are taking about Fatman! And to raise awareness for Fatman and his message(?), we’re hosting a contest.

The rules are simple: just make Fatman fan art. This can be literally anything. A drawing, a video, a t-shirt, a song, an erotic fanfic, a wood relief carving. Go wild, the party’s about to begin!

The winner takes the following prizes

  • July 2012 “PlayStation: The Official Magazine” issue signed by Hideo Kojima

Good luck, and in the spirit of Fatman….
