Joining the army

Tomorrow I am telling my parents I'm interested in joining the army. I don't really know anything about the military or the process of joining, so I have research to do, but right now it feels like the right thing to do because I am a loser right now.

Just wanted to tell you guys. Anyone got tips or experience with the army & what to expect? I talked to Josh for a while but it's awkward to just talk 1 on 1 with people, especially with a suspected child molester. Not saying that he's ever touched a child, just that there's been allegations in the past and a lot of questions have gone unanswered. Tell me what you think about me joining the army.

If you were in the US of A, I would have said the Air Force. A Marine friend once brought up a story of going back from patrol and seeing an Air Force pilot going into a hissy fit over the lack of Haugen Doss on base.

But, British Columbia? What action will you be seeing? Might as well be in the Navy and see the world rather being stuck on some base.

I once though of joining the army. But seriously with all the testerone going on there, I don't think I would survive, I kinda wondered what kinda things they do to the recruits

I thought there are some female population in the services now? My dad had a letter from the Pres to get me to go to Annapolis..lol. I'm adventerous, but not that adventerous..regular Navy, yes...but not Annapolis!

This is basically why I want to do it. I'm giving myself the summer to think it over, if it's still something I want to do, I think I'm gonna go for it. I'll either have a miserable time or it'll be the best thing to ever happen to me.
