Items like the Bomb Backpack from Blast Chamber might make it in...perhaps the rows and rows of cubes crushing people from Intelligent Qube....
...I don't think I need to mention the cast of Final Fantasy VII, VIII, or IX who were instrumental in getting Sony as much sales as they got in the mid to late 90s.
And you just know Crash Bandicoot is gonna be in this.
Maybe characters from Tekken or Battle Arena Toshinden??? Who knows...
Honestly, I'm hoping the roster is more fleshed out compared to what it currently is...most of these characters don't have the "spark" that made Sony Playstation what it was way back when.

Seriously, the last Ape Escape game that's not a crappy spin-off came out seven years ago!
They're loosing what gave them the edge -- an expansive library of exclusive games.

People hoping for their favorite characters and things to appear on this game
then when it comes out,most of the outcome can just be hate...Deja Vu?

the good thing that i really look foward in this game is that the stages and BGM mixes between franchises, i don't expect 3rd parties want to be mixed up but imagine... metal gear rays fighting the GOW titans... and the same time a mix between mgs(3/pw?) theme and god of war theme and shadow mosses is sucked into hades or something like that... I hope if there's a story mode, I hope that thing makes a little more sense than the clusterfuck that brawl story mode was, or atleast have enemies that made sense
And I can get a boner real quick. If anything, you just showed how awesome the backgrounds were. There's potential for a stage there.
Dude, I'm not even questioning the art of this game, it's absolutely one of the bests out there. All in all, I'm good with anything from Oddworld, it just reminds me even more why Oddworld was so good on PSOne.

also I hope that this game roster is bigger, or atleast the characters variations to be more original. look at konami vs hudson vs takara game where solid snake used different outfits, MGS1/mgs2 sneaking suits, the plisking uniform and the tuxedo. this time the "snake" character might use a MGS1 (imagine 1st time ever of mgs1 snake on HD!! the horror), and i don't know knowing this assholes will put more effort in big boss appearances on MGS3/MPW, maybe like this: MGS1 snake/MGS3 cqc suit/ MPW costume/ maybe the OLD SNAKE outfit might get in theretoo. also adding a cyborg ninja that possible mig swap betwen MGS4 raiden/ MGR outfit and fan fave Gray Fucks, and maybe some new character, plain raiden or SOLIDUS(i really hope that)
also expect new remixes from popular tracks of the post tappy-ban era!! (really hope I'm really wrong with this one)
