I doubt that that is going to be the case. Didn't Kojima specifically say that Rising was going to feature as little reference to the old series as possible to make it accessible to a new audience and pave the way for its own series? |

Exactly. So, what we've heard in the past can be disregarded by KP or Kojima. Also, I've been seeing the gallery of th MG WIKI and remembered this:
If the stages are going to be like that, with a Noir touch, I think it would look really good. Well, if it's fun to play, it's always good, even more now, since this is a spin off.
