Seriously, all that these people have proven is that the 99% is so idiotic and gullible that they'll jump head first into a completely illogical and corrupt system, and then take no responsibility for it when it ruins their lives.
Those anti-Ron Paul people who want massive inflation to solve all of our problems? How hopelessly fucked is America at this point, when that's the 99%'s solution?
But of course, anyone who protests is only displaying their ignorance. The Second Amendment was put in place BECAUSE asking corrupt leaders to help you after they've fucked you over is pointless -- at some point it's about actual warfare. I hate to sound like I'm quoting from the script of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, but I've said for ages that FEMA and the 1% are just waiting for a major uprising in order to legitimize a real police state.

Someone I talked to brought up a good point. Why are these people protesting now, as opposed to, you know, during TARP? Or when the auto bailouts were being discussed?
Also, if you are serious about joining a socialist commune, they can freely exist in a free market society. In our current society, even, they exist.

I should print that out and hand it to everyone at school.
Especially my Social Studies teacher.
We were going over some of the Amendments in The Constitution today. When we got to the 16th Amendment he went on a little rant about how he thinks Ron Paul and other Libertarians don't know that the income tax is actually in The Constitution. "WELL LOOKEY HERE! ITS RIGHT HERE!" I pointed out to him that "we're not saying that it isn't in The Constitution. We're saying it SHOULDN'T be in The Constitution. It wasn't one of the 10 main Amendments. It was added by some asshole who wanted to spend more money." I also cited how the 18th Amendment was repealed by the 21st Amendment. Now we can all drink to our hearts content (so long as you're 21... why the fuck can I join the army and get killed when I'm 18, but I'm somehow not responsible enough to have a drink?) IT CAN BE DONE.
Then he kept telling me that the Founders wrote The Constitution over 200 years ago and needed updates (this is the kind of thinking that allows Bush to spy on our phones, or Obama to assassinate American citizens...) and went on about how it's needed to "fund the government", as if we never had taxes before the 16th Amendment. We're still borrowing shit loads of money so all it did was encourage more destructive behavior with taxpayer money.
Finally he tried to feed me the story about how deregulation, not the Federal Reserve and the cushion TARP gave big corporations, allowed banks to make reckless investments. Hence why I need to print those out.
