It's not even that. The fact is that he has successfully planted the seeds for a classical liberal voting bloc that the Republican Party needs because it's left with nothing. I am predicting a libertarian candidate on the GOP ticket in twenty years, no more. It will be the first Presidential election I will actually vote for a major party.
And he or she will get into office and turn around and be a dick, ala Reagan.

I could see it happening. Should be interesting, if we can keep from going full police-state before then (not that I'm somebody who thinks we totally will, just sayin').

Ron Paul isn't the president America needs. The president needs to see all people as equal while Paul promotes racism, as proof by articles he has written about the blacks and hispanics. He wants to cut military spending in foreign countries, destroying our defenses and leaving our country vulnerable to attack. He actually thinks Iran should have nukes.
Sorry for caring about our countries future but this isn't the guy I want in Washington calling the big shots.

Is used to think that when pundits said that Ron Paul was un-electable was stupid. Actually hearing and reading his stance(s) on certain issues; I find him to be archaic and that his interests do not belong to Americans as a whole. Plus his presence as a President would be disrespected.

Obama's going to be president again, though, not because he's an awesome prez, but because everyone else is hilariously bad and at least we know what we're getting.
A good chunk of America is fucked in the head, because the fact Rick Santorum is even a GoP candidate is an insult to humanity, or at least Republicans.
