Apparently this week's TIME has a huge cover story that takes Ron Paul seriously although the author estimates that he will not win the primaries.

If Ron Paul does win the GOP candidacy, I will actually vote in 2012. I never vote because I can't bring myself to vote for politicians that I can't see doing a good job down the line. I have faith in Ron Paul. Just hope it's not misplaced.

Primaries tend to be the only part of Presidential elections I get excited for. Usually some douchbag gets picked and they pick a turd sandwich as their running mate. I ended up writing in a candidate for 2008.

EDIT: Ron Paul released a misleading ad against Rick Perry to troll him for being a former Democrat. It worked and the Perry campaign responded by... reposting Paul's 1987 letter bitching about how the GOP failed to decrease the size of government, lower taxes and cut the deficit. You know, because that makes him sound like a Democrat or something.

I'm seriously surprised. Not only did they take the bait, but they fucked up. The debate tonight is going to be hilarious. RP from Texas vs RP from Texas.
