Why did you lock my compliment thread

I made a thread called "compliment the person above you" and I was wondering why it wasn't getting replies... then I realized that someone locked it!

I'm trying to play nice and respect the rules, but when you guys do shit like this it makes me really confused.

This really seems like something you should have done through a PM.

Pissing and moaning in public makes you look immature and as if you're looking to use the public eye as a backing. If you would have made a respectable debating message via PM to a mod, they probably would have unlocked it immediately seeing as there was little harm.

I think it's more for positive/negative arguments for the Soup and petitioning Ravi for changes more than general "Everyman's Soapbox" (Soupbox more appropriate?).

I can't see a good reason why it was locked other than it was in concert with the spam you did or alongside the ban you served, but there's nothing to say you can't refine the topic and try again.

It seemed more than just your posts were locked after VE mode.

I guess some things got swept away by cleaning alongside the debris.
