New myth article. ""Solid" in Metal Gear Solid refers to Solid Snake." The funny thing is, it's not a complete myth, or at least, it was not at the beginning. My, how times have changed since 1998.

The myth itself is pretty obvious for most of us especially with the many "Metal Gear Solid" titles starring Big Boss and the upcoming Rising to star Raiden. It should still be an informative read nonetheless of the actual meaning of "Solid" in the first game to be dubbed Metal Gear Solid.

I like that the ending was basically a response to Konami's "lawl, metal gear timeline" thing.
