Old world religious bullshit. What if you're cremated? Or lost at sea? Or eaten by bears? How about bees? What if you're lost in space? Or thrown into the sun?

Admit it bro. Your theology is flawed.

Funnily enough, these kinds of things are usually associated with vanity, pride and self forwarding ambition - which God is not a fan of.

What do you mean by "these kind of things?", "associated", or God being "not a fan of"? That sentence made almost no sense it's so vague.

All I was saying is that death is a transition into something better for those who are saved.

You know what sucks about being a closet atheist in a theist family?
If someone close to you dies (like... your grandma), people try to comfort you by saying "it's okay. She's in a better place now."
NO SHE FUCKING ISN'T

Spening the rest of forever in a small casket 6 feet under the ground doesn't sound like a better place.

I really need to keep looking for the fountain of youth.

Nobody needed to comfort me, but it was a challenge getting nodded to in church to sit right or do that cross arm-motion thing.

Death is low in the list of things that worry me lately. I get easily worried over the well-being of the people close to me. For me, it just can't come soon enough.

I don't think about death as much as I think about living...ever since the 4th grade, I knew I wasn't going to be one of those people who at the age of 25/30 would be sitting with all the "what ifs" and with regrets. To hell with that noise.

Isn't no place considerably better than... well, all of the afterlife systems out there? I'd say she's pretty well off.

If you find it be sure and market the waters. Don't buy into all that sacredness of mystical land bullshit. Which is better, living forever? Or living forever with bills stacked to the ceiling? I think you know which is the right answer.

I can't imagine you changing bedpans and being happy at 25. Well, I've never met a happy nurse anyway.

I don't care when death comes for me. Hell I won't know about it or anything else when it happens.

What about reincarnation?

I believe in this more than the concept of an afterlife per se, what with people who claim to remember past lives and have the memories of being the deceased individual whom they supposedly were confirmed to be accurate.

Although I am fearful of death, it is ultimately a natural part of life and I do sometimes wonder what lies beyond the grave.

Here's a quote that I hold dear to me:

Even death is not to be feared by one who has lived wisely. - Buddha

I'll probably get blown up at some point. I already got almost-dead once in a vehicle wreck and wasn't afraid to die then, and I don't really care about it now either.

'Sides, if I die in the line of duty, my family get Medals that are probably worth a few bucks, and the wife'll get a nice lump sum - I'm worth more dead than alive.
