@Econs: A word of warning; Ice types are slooooow to level-up, but worth it, considering Dragons are obnoxiously strong and resistant to just about everything ever.

Good point.

I actually used my Archeops for the 8th gym specifically because he has Dragonbreath. Pretty much wiped the floor with Drayden's face.

The TM you get from Brycen is overpowered. I taught it to Vanillish and between that and it's natural move Ice Beam, Iris never stood a chance.

I'm having trouble finding any Pokemon I'm interested in.

Can anyone tell me what the Unown Pokemon were for? I remember seeing them but not a reason/cause. Thought they might have an interesting story behind them.

How many Ghost pokemon are there in this generation? I just want a Haunter.

Other than that they look like the latin alphabet there isn't much to tell. It's suggested that they might be the origins of alphabets in general, as well as having reality warping powers, but no real evidence is present in the games. It's unfortunate because I rather like them. I collected them all in alphabetical order when Gold and Silver came out. I thought something special might happen. I was wrong!

Edit: Started training my Vanillite tonight. Got it from 23 to 33. It is slow to level up. Also, I think I am out of wild trainers to fight. Haha. Gotta start that grass grinding.

A helpful tip: Ice does neutral damage to Boldores. It got me to around 40 relatively quickly.
