So I got Spider-Man Edge of Time for Christmas.

Holy shit, I can't believe this game got barely any hype compared to the previous one, this game was a hidden gem too.

Beenox knows what they're doing with these games.

Also, there's a bunch of DLC for it, which is all completely free, three new skins (in addition to the thirty unlockable ones) and a new game mode, and more stuff is on the way.

I read a lot of mixed reviews on IGN and Gamespot, and noticed that everything they criticized Edge of Time for, they praised Arkham City for. I guess they're still on the Batman hype wagon.

I don't want to sound like a fanboy, even though I will, but I think people who didn't like this game or gave it bad reviews either wanted the game to be free roaming, which makes it very easy to be a generic piece of shit with a bad story and generic missions like Web of Shadows or Spider-Man 3.

The whole game is cinematic, the action does not stop from the moment you turn the game on, until the moment you beat it.

When I put the disc in, the game started up immediately, no main menu, no install, no developer logos, nothing until I saved and quit to the main menu.

There's tons of hidden stuff, a shitload of challenges to complete, the bosses are defeated by actualy attacking them instead of "PRESS O TO START CUTSCENE", and the game itself is somewhat challenging.

I'm already following it. This month's issue was seriously underwhelming though. I was expecting shit to go down big time in this issue.

And Venom looks LAME on that last page.

Carnage USA kicks ass.

And so does Venom.

Although Venom and Amazing Spider-Man have been sloping downwards for a few issues now.

Also, I now completely love the costume in the new movie. Not as much as the original, but all of a sudden I think it looks fucking awesome.

No clue, I know for a fact Edge of Time is on the 3DS, and identical to console versions.

Most people either loved or hated Edge of Time. I loved it.

Drake Bell wouldn't bother me if the show wasn't so much like Teen Titans.

I like wacky shit in my comics, I just don't like my characters turning into chibis and toasters in the middle of fights, or their heads suddenly growing 8 times regular size.
