Hey, if it's not broke, don't fix it. Love that they've actually put in proper analogue sticks now. Supposedly, they demo'd MGS4 on it, and it looked great, though some detail was lost and it was running at 20FPS.

I'm fully aware it's a placeholder, but usually, so as to not discourage preorders, they aim to set the placeholder in the same ballpark as they estimate the real value. If this thing is going to cost anywhere close to a grand, you can color me uninterested.

Well if that is the estimated price they must have added more than just better graphics and a second analog nub. Maybe you can move you ps3 games over to it.

Seems to me like they priced it that high to sucker some idiots into pre-ordering it now. Doubt it'll cost anywhere near that much. Sony have probably learned after pricing the PS3 so high that they lost a large portion of their market.
