Anthem and We the Living are pretty good. If you want to quickly learn everything about Objectivism without having to read about Dagny Taggart's bitchy, angular face, just go with those.

Their control over 3rd party hardware and programs/apps is just disgusting. | Overtook it in what market, the operating system market? I think it would cause a huge hacking scene. It's a far cry from ever happening probably due to a mix of the expensive hardware required (outside of unlicensed use) and the stuff you're talking about.
Besides, when Apple controlled a huge portion of the smartphone market, Android smartphones were flooded in and they now hold a majority. To be fair to Apple here, I think the iPhone itself holds a plurality in the smartphone market, but there's more smartphones running Android than iOS. Apple is planning on releasing a cheap version of the iPhone 4 after the release of the 5th incarnation according to some rumors to try to get some of it's share back. Wouldn't mind one myself, actually.

Ronok's post in the Peace Walker thread reminded me I had something to say about this one:
Would you guys fuck Ayn Rand? Like if she was still young? I think this is what it all comes down to.
Pic for reference

This one's the best;
I like loose hair.
Man, who else got hard at the end of Chapter 8/beginning of Chapter 9?
If everything in her books are all about her metaphysics (just look at how detailed she is during the sex scenes...), I'd say bring it on!
(I might need to borrow Kojima's time machine...)

I thought it was some kind of fancy night gown.
She seems to be a huge slut. Just look at Dagny, or the infamous rape scene in The Fountainhead (where the girl seems to like it...)
Speaking of which, going by how the otherwise head-strong individualist woman falls for all the "heroic" men, and how highly Rand spoke of her husband, it's pretty clear where she got most of her ideas...

So Adam Curtis has a new documentary called All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace. I actually saw The Trap because someone on The 'Soup told me to (I think it was JJJH who goes by a different name every week or so) and I thought it was interesting but I find Curtis to oversimplify things, cherry pick evidence and then present a flawed argument as a result.
The first chapter of All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace, Love & Power, mostly involves with Rand. It's hilarious to watch and hear about Rand being illogical. But then Curtis jumps into Alan Greenspan and then Enron and shit and I'm wondering, does this guy know anything about Rand's philosophy?
His whole thing is about computers, but in all seriousness, Greenspan stopped being an objectivist as soon as he became Fed chairman. Maybe even before that when he more or less raised social security taxes on everyone. For fuck's sake, whenever people ask him "Are you even a capitalist anymore" he usually talks about "compromise." That's not Randian at all.
Now his argument about the trust put into computers in regulating the markets is true, absolutely. But the links Curtis tried to establish to me fell flat since I actually know the subject and he either doesn't or he's being deceptive. I also laughed at the "Joseph Stiglitz tried to stop this bullshit but like some guy made him not go talk to Clinton about it." Good soundtrack though.
