There's going to be a free convention located somewhere around me and I was planning on going as Phoenix.
-So far I've found a seller on Amazon for the Royal blue colored suit
-Replica attorney's badge on a livejournal seller
-Dark pink tie at Burlington coat factory
The wig is going to be the hardest to find/make...
If anyone has any tips I'd be much obliged to see them.
Oh and Ravi I never knew you had Godot costume...
May you post them if that's not a bother please?

I've seen this, and my only objection (woo hoo) is the way the characters look. I mean, that guy's Phoenix Wright? Seriously? I've seen cosplayers do a better job.

The trailer will be released this week. They showed a preview of it on a Japanese variety program, apparently the movie will also cover the DL-6 incident and murder of Mia Fey. So it looks like they're trying to adapt the whole first game or at least the DL-6 related cases in the movie. The release date is February 11, 2012. The first trailer will be shown November 5th.
Andriasang posted the preview on YouTube. The people talking are excited over a guest on their show who appears as a lawyer in the production.
We get a pretty good look at Mia, Maya, Edgeworth, the Judge, Phoenix (saying his trademarked line), and a glimpse of Von Kharma.

If you still haven't learned not to judge stuff from trailers, you haven't learned anything.
Heck, the trailer for Max Payne looked good. You know, aside from Marky Mark.

I've always imagined that a film adaptation of Phoenix Wright would simply reject some of the costume choices in the games. Miles would wear expensive custom designer shit, speak in an elegant William F. Buckley type accent and drive a Benz SLR McLaren while Phoenix would wear some cheap business suit that kind of fits loose on him and ride a bike. Not sure how the psychic bullshit would have worked.
