Ace Attorney does not seem like a series I would like at all but I'd still like to give it a whirl. Which DS game should I go for, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney or Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth?

Neither, for you should play them in order. Apollo Justice is a long-gap sequel from the original series and Ace Attorney Investigations is a spin-off of sorts with somewhat different gameplay.

Ah, I just saw that Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney was remade for the DS. So I suppose I'll give that a try since I don't own a GBA and I don't want to play it on an emulator. Good?

Really? You never knew that?
I used to think they were games made for the DS until I did some research and found out the franchise has been around for about 10 years.

I heard about the series from here and there but was never really interested enough to play it or even look it up. The cutscenes I saw seemed too melodramatic for my taste and for the longest time I thought it was popular as a joke.
However, I still want to try it. Who knows, maybe it's good.
