Moderating the forums and wiki are two completely different situations. Unlike the forums, the wiki is not a free market format--pages don't get "bumped" or whatever and thus while people ignoring a post or thread would result in it's death, wiki pages are immortal and seemingly equal. So here's what I'm thinking so far:

If someone reports another member posting their information that was not publicly available anywhere within The 'Soup, the information will be taken down and the member will be banned from contributing to the wiki indefinitely and will receive a warning on the forums for Rule 2§1. Keep in mind that it has to be reported. While in the forums it might be a little obvious, it might not be on the wiki since everyone can edit every page. So we really have no idea who did what unless we look deep into it, which we probably won't unless you alert us.

Conflicts such as two people fighting over what should or shouldn't be on a page can be resolved by Wiki Korps Judges. Right now we only need one and I'm fine with Snarf taking the title. Judges should be ruthless and fair and use the forum rules not as law but rather as guidelines. Verdicts can be appealed to me but I can choose to look into it or not. Violating a verdict by a judge will result in a ban to the wiki indefinitely.

I'm not sure if we really need anything more than this.

Even though the wikki was not the forum, and was considered seperate, it was connected to the forum by the members here. Private messages should be private, or our PM place would mean nothing in my opinion. When I posted on Mercury's page, I told him I was going to, and if he didn't like what was there, I wouldn't have gotten mad or hurt if he removed it,,,afterall it is his wikki, not mine. I won't be using mine anymore either, but I'm glad to see guidelines to be in place. We never needed them in the past, even though something like this happened with Robert V. he just chose to deleted his.

So to get this straight, if I say on the forum that I want to bang Zerim in a weak moment, someone can quote my saying that on their wikki, and I will have no say what it posted on their page because I made it public?

First off, a few corrections. Nobody has a "wiki." The wiki is a collection of shit that is hosting by me that any member of the forum can edit. What you say is "someone's wiki" is really a page about them.

So if someone posts a quote from you that has fuck to do with the article and even after deleting it it gets reposted, it's one of those things that you can take it up to the court for a decision which will probably be "get that shit out." On the other hand, if it's relevant to the wiki article (like maybe it's a page about Zerim or sexuality on the 'Soup or whatever the fuck you kids make), there's really little reason to omit it. You could modify the quote to mention that you were being sarcastic.

Similarly, such a quotation would be fair game on these very forums as long as it's consistent to the thread.
