Oh, wait, Japan only. Sure, it's true that Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker's release date for everyone else is two months after the Japanese release date and the prizes that are shown have only been confirmed for release in Japan so far. Hell, it's possible that they still might announce something similar to this later... but why don't they just say so? Or just say that the western deadline is actually May 11th or something like that? Or man up and say that we get nothing?



Instead we got an Aussie and Kiwi in the top 10 right now who are pretty much there with a thumb up their ass because everyone else there, who are Japanese, has some incentive to spend the rest of their lives until March 11th Piece Walking to win a chance to win prizes. It's like MGO again, except this time, the game itself is actually fun.

I think it's a bit silly to open the game to almost anyone who can use the internet but then dissuade people and say "Oh, but no, you can't win this outside Japan". As far as I figure, if you can get in the top 200, then Konami and Sony should be willing to make an exception to the region block and send you the prize package.

Also.. Really... Nick Arcade? It's been year' since that show was on. I remember watching one of them fail at SONIC 2, which they were touting was on their show before release. Those kids would've crapped their pants if those arcade booths had today' games in them... Plus, what do you think the game the had to play at the end would look like? That wizard would have like, a bajillion weapons...
