Well Wolfe, and I believe I said this in another thread, but I believe it's time for America to have a serious Brain Drain (intellectual talent leaving in droves for those who think I just mean making people stupider).
I know there isn't much hope in other parts of the world being much different, but I feel strongly that if things fail due to serious lack of talent perhaps the return would be met with proper fanfare and consideration.
It's very frustrating for someone like me to have the technical knowledge and the will to advance science and help people (write medical software and want to write simulation models for science) but to be entirely discouraged because it's not profitable and because of how society separates the majority of people from scientists (not including the majority of them work for private companies doing private things that only help private interests).

Take the issue of illegal immigration. There are serious consequences of it, mostly related to the welfare state itself. With that said, is it actually the fault of the illegals who are getting a sweet enough deal to cross the border and work hard, or the system that has been implemented and of which its dismantling is taboo outside of free market circles? |
Being one of the thought that the welfare state is a trap or, at best (assuming innocence) that it's an abysmal failure of a program, I'd say that honestly there's nothing wrong with immigration and inexpensive labor, if anything it forces people to get off of their asses and get educated to earn the artificially high min wage.

We all have to work with the hand we're dealt, and I don't condemn people who are trying to succeed in this shitty system. I absolutely blame the system first. I feel sorry for people who try to chase their dreams in this environment, especially if they're naively optimistic and don't realize the odds of their failing... Or worse yet, reaching their dream and finding it to be corrupted and unsatisfying compared to what they imagined.
There is more than enough evidence that women especially tend to believe the propaganda of the times and believe that they can find happiness through careers, trying to "have it all", but reality proves otherwise. It's sad and exploits the ignorance of people. Many, many, MANY well intentioned men have wasted their lives trying to support those women's artificially created delusions, even if the man knows better. It pisses me off.
The profit margin and bonuses of America's largest corporations is ridiculous, and proves that situation does NOT NEED to be this harsh for workers and consumers -- it's purely greed driven. Shipping jobs oversees is especially dirty, since it lowers income for consumers (who are jobless and accept worse conditions) and prices (thanks to slave labor) simultaneously, but still works out as big profit for corporations. So yes, the system is to blame, on pretty much every level.
"Cui bono" applies here. Look at who consistently and hugely benefits, and you'll find who is responsible for maintaining the shitty system and making it worse. (Also, before you think I'm talking about the "1%" and the communist bullshit of the "Occupy" movement, I absolutely don't support that shit. As far as I'm concerned that is corporate-sponsored controlled opposition.)

You should just stick with the dates with your brother and your one friend.
You're not smart. You would have to be out there dating to have an experienced opinion. Since you only make dates with your brother and another male, how the hell would you know? lol

| Mr. Wolfe wrote: | | It's not really sarcastic and it's not just about a certain type of relationship | Uh, yeah it is. You can tell by the "silent commentary" each character provides. It's obvious that these two were never actually serious about each other and are just getting over a serious relationship. With bruised and broken egos and insecurities up the ass, they more or less use each other as "rebounds," in different ways of course, but eventually realize that there was nothing there and move on. Is it common? Yeah, it happens. But it's not how all relationships are.

Not me brother. Must be you're talking of someone else.
The only thing bruised of me is the shitty way you treated me in the end.
Saying shit to me you didn't mean, your lies, you manipulation. You are nothing more than an online pedophile. I'm sorry I wasted 3 yrs. as your friend. Thats whats bruised. But I'll get over it. In fact, I already have.

I'm a virgin, so the sex part of that didn't have anything to do with any of my past relationships. It is what could have ended them though! l0l
