i'll admit it was nice to hear john cygan again. Another game with him as a principle character might be cool someday.

I was also glad to hear John Cygan's voice again, but he sounded somehow different. More intimidating. I wonder is it so in purpose (considering the scene was kind of disturbing) or did Cygan have problems getting back to the character after 11 years.

Sadly it's the latter. A while back Demon FM did podcasts with some of the MGS voice actors. John Cygan tried to do some lines and his Solidus came off much more gruff as though he was Big Boss more than George Sears.
