I was actually really hoping it'd be Raiden, cyborg or otherwise. I think his style would lend well to this kind of game.

The actual title is something along the lines of "Playstation All-Stars" but people call it Sony Smash Bros I guess because... that's what it basically is.

it make sense that this game to get a lot more 3rd party characters than nintendo's because the original PS was the launch platform of many capcom/konami/square/hudson/etc properties.

also i hope that they bring back this character on this game... at least as a alternate 2p jill (even if they're some resi characters in there)

also I hope that this game roster is bigger, or atleast the characters variations to be more original. look at konami vs hudson vs takara game where solid snake used different outfits, MGS1/mgs2 sneaking suits, the plisking uniform and the tuxedo. this time the "snake" character might use a MGS1 (imagine 1st time ever of mgs1 snake on HD!! the horror), and i don't know knowing this assholes will put more effort in big boss appearances on MGS3/MPW, maybe like this: MGS1 snake/MGS3 cqc suit/ MPW costume/ maybe the OLD SNAKE outfit might get in theretoo. also adding a cyborg ninja that possible mig swap betwen MGS4 raiden/ MGR outfit and fan fave Gray Fucks, and maybe some new character, plain raiden or SOLIDUS(i really hope that)

also expect new remixes from popular tracks of the post tappy-ban era!! (really hope I'm really wrong with this one)

It'll be more interesting to talk about fighting stages...

Shadow Moses. Ray and Rex fighting in the background.

Arsenal Belly, rays around you blasting shit. Raiden in the background with Stinger Missiles.

Metal Gear Outer Haven, top part, same location as Liquid Ocelot/Old Snake scuffle, music in background.

Maybe it'll be like the Pokemon Stadium level where it's all VR and constantly transforming into different stages from the MGS series.

I'm still betting Raiden's in there somewhere too...

I wonder why Nintendo has no legal objection against this.

I mean, it's not too bad for Sony but this is the biggest copy cat I've ever seen. (There was Tappy though.. *feels FRANKASTER's presence*)

Heck i played brawl before,that stage would be alot useless in this situation
remeber,The game is about scoring points not knocking people off the stage

then agian that would be badass...

On a side note,would it be possible some stages to interact and interfere with the players like in brawl.

For EX:
The stage "Bridge of Eldin"

An arena in brawl which in a couple of minutes,a character comes through the stage droping the bomb in the middle of the bridge which destroys it

it forces players to decide to fight on either side

They should maintian the brawl elements in order to make it "brawlish".

For the same reason no other fighting games have any legal objection against each other... They're all THE SAME! (Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, King of Fighters, BlazBlue, Virtua Fighter, etc. etc. etc.) Nintendo's only innovation was having 4 on-screen at the same time, though even I doubt they did it first... Hell, I doubt it's even the first mascot-related fighting game.
