Did you know Hideo Kojima is speaking tomorrow?

Jack, do you remember what day tomorrow is?



As discussed prior, tomorrow will be Hideo Kojima presenting a discussion at the Smithsonian. Kojima previously did a live discussion at USC last year. The event will take place tomorrow from 09:00am to 10:30am EST. This is to kick off the video games display that's debuting tomorrow which includes numerous games that people were able to vote to be displayed. Among those chosen were Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty that will be displayed. The discussion will be available online and live for those who wish to watch. Or you can check out Konami's Official Facebook page for more info in regards to this historic event.

Kojima once stated before that "Games are not art." Perhaps he's had a chance of heart or feels that games would never achieve this level of recognition.

So first we got some lousy shirts, then HD Collection on Vita. Now we got the introduction of MGS 1 and 2 to the Smithsonian with Kojima personally welcoming them in. Which makes sense to have MGS on there since Kojima prefers that over Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (even though it's official that MGS 4's ending is better).

So far, it seems this year is a good time to be a Metal Gear fan. In fact, if someone is willing, perhaps we can even have live coverage via our own Soup Chat.
