Got to commend you on the way you've linked everything together Ravi, it's all very well put together and also very probable. I think Big Boss is the best character in the MGS universe and has a lot more history and depth to his character than the (chronologically) later Solid Snake. I know Kojima keeps banging on about how he's going to quit making MGS games but this just proves that he won't. I suspect he has something big planned for this year’s E3 to coincide with the series 25th anniversary. I also suspect it will be Nintendo related as they have a new console launch due Christmas.
As much as I love the potential of an MGS game featuring Big Boss in his final years before going mental, I’d have loved to play a game where you took control of The Boss and her Cobra Unit during the World War. This was something Kojima himself talked about. The Boss only appeared in one game, (two if you count Peace Walker flashbacks) but she was a very powerful character. The relationship established between The Boss and Big Boss is one that hasn't been equalled in the MGS series. I've never felt so much empathy towards fictional characters before.
Anyway, fingers crossed Kojima announces something soon. It's been nearly 4 years since his last proper console release and I'd love to see where he can take the series next. If he can somehow manage to get Big Boss, Gray Fox and a young Solid Snake into the same game that could be something special.

They have "Game Designers" listed, and he wants to "expand" Kojima Productions to the West. So I'd say he's doing it to fucking finally pass the torch to his team while at the same time uniting Eastern and Western gaming philosophies, which he emphasized at the end of his 2009 GDC Keynote and a few other times that escape me at the moment.

Well that's just, like, your opinion man.

Imagine the pool of the collective cum of each character's fanboys. It would be more than what Zerim plans on squirting once Snarf translates that "thing."

You know what saddens me about every new Metal Gear Solid game since 4? The so-far-irrefutable certainty that it won't be nearly as good as the earlier titles. Yeah, it won't be bad, sure I'll probably have fun with it, but it feels like your spouse after 50 years of marriage; you love them, because you remember the good times, you probably don't want a divorce, but stuff are shagging and swinging all the wrong ways and you just make due.
Even for Peace Walker I was slightly excited. At this point, I'll just bend over and wait for it to be over. And I won't cry, as much as I want to.

Come to terms with its continued existence. Metal Gear will never stop. You know this. I know this. We all know this. Even Kojima knows this. He's known it for years.
The games? They never go away, Zerim. Once you've played Metal Gear, tasted the exhilaration, the tension, it all becomes part of you. Once you've awakened the fanboy within, it never sleeps again. You crave ever bigger games, ever bigger cutscenes. As a fan I'd think you would have realized that by now. You care nothing for Trophies, or Achievements, or even a life. The only thing that satisfies your cravings is more Metal Gear games! All The Soup's done is give you a place for it. It's given you a reason to live.

I like how honest you are about this.

He didn't go crazy at all. He just faced the reality of what needed to be done. Eveything he did was to keep the world in balance.
