Rather meh list of nominations this year really. Would have loved to see Drive get some nominations, but nope. :/ Would also have loved to see Tintin as a nomination for best animated feature... which I don't really get why it didn't. Finally about time Gary Oldman got his nomination, now if only they'd actually give it to him!

So Demi Moore not only lost her cute hubby to the temptations of younger women and well...just that he can..she also wasn't nominiated for a supporting role in Margin Call. Shame, they said she was nomination worthy, but the film had a small budget..etc. etc. Now shes falling apart and what can ya do?

Glen Close has been around too. Whatever happened to Angelica Huston? Im not so much to remember the older ladies of hollywood...Im sure there are a few more.

I saw a photo of Tom Cruise last week in an office and he looked nice. George Clooney will last a long time too. Al Pacino has to look pretty ancient now though.. =/

I saw the new Mission Impossible about a month ago and couldn't believe how old Tom Cruise looked. Throughout the whole movie, every time a close shot of his face was on screen my mind just couldn't process it.

This was the photo I saw, from October 11 this past year.

I agree, but I think his talent becomes apparent if you compare his Smiles to some of his other roles, he's a chameleon.

I believe the Academy finally realized how stupid they were for ignoring him for so long, hopefully they will make up for it by letting him win.
