Could SONIC 4: EPISODE II be out within the next month or so? The ESRB seems to think so as it's gotten it's official rating from the certification board. "E For Everyone" is the rating (did you expect Shadow and his uber epic E-10+ rating?). But what's funny here is actually what the ESRB posted as the rating summary:

Even SEGA isn't afraid of damned retcons. Now Miles "Tails" Prower, is no longer a fox. Instead he is a "fox-like" creature. Boss fights occur infrequently (I guess once every three stages isn't enough, or the rater was being an asshole) and it's accompanied by colorful impact effects.
Is it just me, or does the whole summary almost sound like the ESRB played the first level and gave up? In fact, if you read almost any other ESRB rating summary for any of the Sonic game's on the site. They all have the same line in common. EVERY ONE OF THEM SAYS:

All the summaries do, is change the characters involved, and what leads up to, and proceeds this sentence. Rather lazy indeed.
ESRB Rating in case you like reading what you just read in an official capacity.

Maybe this is nitpicking, but I would always classify Tails as Fox-like.

A BUNCH of new SONIC 4: EPISODE II images released yesterday. This one stands out because it kills two things at once. In the foreground, my love of the classic games is mocked and sodomized... In the background, we can see Little Planet... So they also created a double-whammy and try to rape SONIC CD.
Is it just me or is it like Metal Sonic is far ahead of them, mocking them... Almost as a clever aside from SONIC TEAM. "Lawl.. Look at this game trying to catch the classics! Fuck you!!"
