Kojima would bring a gun, not a tool, to a fight

After watching The Truth Behind Rising yesterday and learning about the weak handling of the development of Metal Gear Solid: Rising without Hideo Kojima's involvement some fans wondered why Kojima did not just jump in at that point as he did with nearly every single Metal Gear title he attempted to lease out, only to take direct control over anyways. Well, it's quite simple, really: he's not a big fan of blades.

“That wasn't my idea. I'm not a katana maniac... if I had to chose between a katana and a gun, I'd probably choose a gun.

No tools of justice for Mr. Kojima.
