Anyone else seeing this or is it just me? Having to refresh a few times when trying to post or edit posts...

Not to be dumb or commanding, but if you could give us some more info, surely we can troubleshoot it. The first step is to be able to reproduce your error, so if you would kindly answer these questions:

Code:
Browser
Version (can be found under Help>About)
Reply/Post method that it occurs (May occur during Reply or during Quick Reply separately)
Does it occur when creating a new thread?
Any other special conditions

Edit:
Ravi might check the logs too if you can repeat the error and tell us the exact time you did so that will give him an exact spot to look.

I'm not sure how to be more specific, and if nobody else is getting this it isn't going to be worth your time troubleshooting. It appears above the Subject box, apparently due to post editing but also post submitting - the precise time is when I hit the Submit button. I'm using Firefox 5.0 and never use quick reply.

Actually it's done it when I tried to submit this reply and I had to come out of the form back to the forum section and re enter the thread to get this post to work - here it looks like this:

Edit: haven't seen this appearing when creating a new thread

Usually this happens when someone is logged in as you, your IP address has changed while you logged in, you got automatically logged out for having no activity (you were probably typing up a post) and after logging in simply click back to submit the same form, or you logged out logged back in one or more tabs outside of the tab you're typing the post in.

Heh, my bad. phpBB general troubleshooting. I'm no mod/admin here so the specifics are hazy.

I've received it twice in the past week, first i thought it was because someone reply to a thread before i did so i resubmitted it and it worked fine, then it happened again when editing a post.

EDIT - Okay today it made me log in again before i could post, i logged in and then it gave the invalid session error. Resubmitted and it posted fine.

EDIT 2 - Did it again during this edit

I've been getting it consistently as well for the past few weeks as well, 9 out of 10 times I'll submit a post, either new or a simple edit. At times, the message appears consecutively 3-4 times before the post finally goes up. No logging out, no IP change or multiple IPs.

Everyone who this topic pertains to, if you could post your ISP type (Cable, DSL, Etc) your browser, and it's version (Help> About X Browser) that would probably help determine if it's the website or something else.

Try this or this.

Both are portable and tiny, removed by simply deleting the folder they're installed into.

See if you still have session issues for me please. This will help me figure out if it's Firefox 5 that you and Richter are using that is causing issues.

I'm starting to think it's something with the version of phpBB and eXtreme Styles if Ravi is using it.

I get the error with Firefox as well. It's likely it's an issue with the browser.

Guys I keep getting this error:

"Fission Mailed. Please turn off your computer."

I restarted the computer but it keeps happening. How do I fix this?
