Okay honestly, how could you not like Shinkawa art in sequential plot form? That makes no fucking sense. You'd have to, like, not be a Metal Gear fan.

...but you have to consider the fact that neither Strangelove or Big Boss were aware of Paz's real age at those points of the game (Date with Paz is unlocked before Chapter 5. Even if it's not canon, in Date with Paz's universe, Big Boss doesn't know Paz's real age.)

Let's ignore the Extra Ops altogether, as it's not canon. It's a fallacy to bring it into an argument as a supporting fact while simultaneously saying it irrelevant.

Case in point?

Now that we're past this. Let's assume that this Galvez is supposed to be a teacher at a university, over a large amount of people. Paz is studying below him. Now, even if she's still in high school that makes her 17 at the youngest to be doing study at a university in a common sense assumption. Let's place her at 18 though for this assumption as she's in COLLEGE.

Also, let's factor in that women are generally MUCH better at detecting age in other women than men. I mean, be honest. In personal experience do you think you, or an older woman would be able to better guess the age of another girl/woman? Especially that "cusp of womanhood" era?

Sure, they didn't know her age. It's more annoying how obvious the huge gap is than any kind of retarded assumption that they may have suspected she was some kind of child. It's just Japanese design style meeting creative purpose of making her appear young and innocent. To them it has to be some kind of delicious school girl, little girl fetish. If it were American she'd probably be slightly sluttier and with more obvious assets. Japanese touch is all.

"Women are better at detecting age" is a stretch of an argument and Paz is introduced as being sixteen years-old at the beginning of the game, an age which she confirms is part of her disguise. Also, Snatcher and Policenauts pretty much confirms that Kojima likes to entertain the idea of perverts eyeing teenagers.

I honestly don't remember her being introduced explicitly as an age, but you're pretty good on your homework so I'll roll with that.

That still doesn't say that they believed it all. I mean she was pretending to have some kind of relationship (close teacher/student) with someone that BB KNEW was lying about identity It's also pretty clear when they find the person who recorded the tape they found that she likely didn't even have a missing friend. Not only that but either you misquoted me or took it out of context, and I'm too tired to research within the thread to find out so I've taken the liberty of editing the quote to highlight what is contextually incorrect.

I honestly believe it's true to say that an older woman can outdo most men at guessing other women's age on average. Reason itself says they're better at gauging it due to personal experience and knowledge.

If this does happen, here's how I think it'll go down:

# Like Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD, it'll be a direct port with a few texture updates. I wouldn't expect it to look like an actual made-for-PS3 game.

# Comic cut scenes are still in. No point in wasting money developing them in engine, they wouldn't look that good anyway. The art exists in at least 1280x720. Spooky graphic (the company that animated the cut scenes) probably did them in HD originally anyway.

# Camera controls on the right stick. No brainer. But will crawling/moving along walls/jump out shots etc return? Doubtful. Even with all those extra buttons the original game was designed without them. Un-streamlining the character actions could possibly break some things. It would be cool if they did end up taking the time to make it work, though.

# New UI. I think the whole UI will get overhauled. From the main menu, the Mother Base menus, to the game's HUD.

# Cut missions. Kojima said a while ago that because of UMD restrictions, a lot of Extra Op missions were cut. Putting these back in the game should be the first thing they do. MHP3rd HD has some PS3 exclusive content, too.

# Online. Like MHP3rd HD, Peace Walker HD will probably use Ad-Hoc Party for it's online. We don't know how MHP3rd HD will use Ad-Hoc Party at this stage though, so it could end up not being that bad.

# Save import. You'll probably be able to go back and forth between PS3 and PSP, and maybe even get something special for bringing your save over to the PS3 version.

I'm interested to see how it'll turn out if it ends up happening.

Actually it'll probably end up being shitty. Fuck.

Don't you think that, if Strangelove knew Paz was lying about her age, she would tell Big Boss? Or anyone? She didn't have to tell them about their little "fun," just that she looks suspicious.
