Well sounds like what he needs is some tutelage. Either for solo professional work, or project structuring we can advise him, and turn his project woes into something he can enjoy.
Right now is outside the norm for me, I only have 1 project going on. Normally a contractor or developer finds themselves torn between things they want to do, things they are pursuing and things they are contractually bound to do. (This is how and why I believe Hideo purposefully drove MGS4 into the ground) |
Hey it's not like I have professional work to do yet so I can do anything any time.

I'll post around. I know some people who truly want some kind of talent to help propel ideas they have. I usually don't take on these kind of fixer-upper projects because they require a variety of talents I don't possess (team leadership, voice acting, graphics design, script writing). Most people with the ideas, don't have much other talent. Like they say though...anyone can be a game designer, but the talents within are the resource. |

Alright motherfuckers, I have been playing this epic shit nonstop since I got it. OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's amazing. Shit yeah dude. I'mma level with y'all, I thought Diamond, Pearl and Platinum were kinda sad. They weren't bad, but... I dunno. Not the same. The Pokemon were really fucking unimaginative and the story was annoying as fuck. The gameplay was still good, but it's fucking Pokemon, the gameplay never changes. I just wasn't as thrilled with it as all the others. I actually never even got any of Gen 4 shit until Platinum came out. It sucks too because when they announced it I was hella psyched, but as more came out on it I just lost interested. Overall, I felt there was something missing from those games. Something that even newer games like Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald had tons of.
But then comes motherfucking Gen 5, and I was figuring it'd be the same kinda shit. and the time between the game's releases? Really fast development guys! But I figured "hey, a new Pokemon game will still be fun", so I got it. HOLY SHIT, I was surprised. Fucking ass man, this game is rad! I came in expecting nothing too much, just routine Pokemon game at this point, but WOW DUDE! Hell yeah is this a good game. It's like playing Gen 2 all over again, which in my opinion was the best generation. The Pokemon's designs are actually imaginative again! No more fucking Footaar, the Football Pokemon. No, no, no, we've got some badass shit man! We've got Haxorus! HE'S SO MOTHEFUCKING 1337 NIGGER!!!

I might check them out then. A long time ago I agreed to help some dude do a romhack of Blue/Red to make it very grimdark. He ended up bailing, but enjoying some fan-notice in the meantime.
While we're on that subject, Ghost-type Pokemon were always my favorite. Especially Haunter.
