Yep, some people just want consistent action. I guess we all have our opinions, huh?

It's a really good thing they didn't speed up to get to the action because we wouldn't have gotten all that great exposition in the beginning. |
Agreed. The sequel was a blast, but the original was so great because while it did have some really intense moments, at times it had a slower pace that made it feel like a toned-down survival game. Still a very fun game.

That's brilliant.

So, yeah, today I tried to install the Crysis 2 demo on Steam, but that killed my computer and wouldn't let me run Steam. I followed their instructions on how to fix it (ie DELETE FUCKING EVERYTHING except "steam" and "steamapps") but that only made things worse, so now I have to reinstall both Steam, AND ALL OF MY FUCKING GAMES.
For the first time since ever, I hate Valve for something.

Yeah, I neutered mine via JNI so that it doesn't constantly try to update. I mean, with how often they update to combat theft, hacking, and various other digital rights management issues I got fed up with it. Also I was tired of seeing all their advertisements, and wanted to be able to play the game offline on demand, and without needing steam running unless I wanted to play with other steam players.

I entertained that idea too. Now that I think about it, that sounds more likely.
I don't really care what I did wrong now. The problem's solved now, somewhat.

As for the group idea, I say go for it. It'd be better than the shitty groups I keep getting roped into.
