The script writer of Bladerunner never considered Deckard to be a Replicant. I don't care what Scott thought anyway, does he care to explain why the hell Deckard gets thrown around like a rag doll so easily and how he has emotions even though there's a killswitch and he's been around for more than 4 years. He was written as a human, and, as already said, Ford thought he was human because "People needed someone to root for". It should be noted that the Unicorn scene wasn't in the original theatrical cut. It was intended to be, but cut for whatever reason.

Yeah, Ridley Scott may be all 'Blade Runner's MY film, I'm the DIRECTOR, so it's MINE.' but there was a whole creative team involved with the film with conflicting interpretations of the material. Therefore the film is still open for interpretation to the audience, as that seems to be what was intended for it.

He didn't say anything bad about Empire Strikes Back.
He did say that he preferred Indiana Jones to Han Solo. Not that big of a deal though.

Every cut of the film has the damn origami unicorn ending. The novel has Deckard confirmed as a human but the reader questions if he has any humanity left. I really don't see how the unicorn dream ruins anything.

Not every cut features Deckard's dream with the unicorn, however. I think people are getting those two scenes mixed up.

I'm very interested in special effects makeup, so almost any scene in any movie that showcases Stan Winston's or Tom Savini's makeup is, not necessarily underrated, but impressive to me. Specific examples that come to mind are the Terminator tearing the skin off of its arm in Terminator 2, Kevin Bacon getting an arrow through the throat in Friday the 13th, and pretty much the entirety of Day of the Dead.

Tom Savini is great, he autographed my Dawn of the Dead DVD. The Friday the 13th scene you mentioned is one of my favorite horror movie death scenes.

The point of the Unicorn dream sequence and the origami suggests that Gaff knew Deckard was a replicant. It is supposed to reflect Deckard knowing about Rachel's false memories and dreams.

Also, people bring up the point that there was a 'sixth' replicant mentioned by Bryant, but is never shown, but it was revealed as a mistake because they had another character that was cut and didn't re-write the line.

Possibly the best eccentric performance I've seen.

In the "Final Cut" DVD of Blade Runner, they actually went to the trouble of re-dubbing M. Emmet Walsh's line about how many replicants got fried in the electrical field, which leaves little doubt as to Deckard's humanity. Of course, this is one of those things that's open to interpretation, even with the corrected line.

No space or capitalization. Double whammy right there sir. You had:

Discoman wrote:

When it should of been:

Speaking of double whammy. You had:

One correct comma but then forgot one. Screen shot for both.

Shit, they still make Harry Potter movies?

There's a total of 7 books so you'd think there'd be 7 movies, but there's gonna be 8...They're gonna split the last book into 2 movies which I guess is good in that less will be cut out but i dunno. They're making it more about the money and I hate it. I also hate David Yates. If they were gonna split a book into 2 movies it should have been #5 because it's the longest book but instead it's the shortest movie? The fuck?!

Anyways, my favorite film scene is probably when Harry has to battle the Basilisk at the end of Chamber of Secrets. That was the one movie moment that I felt the book truly came to life on the big screen and as a huge fan of the books that's what made the scene epic.

I'm stoked for the LAST 2 HP movies. Well, I hate that I have to wait 6 months to see the next one. I could just sit there for 4 hours and watch it. So I'll wait until the second part releases, then I'll do a double feature.

I think they are going to do the same for Twilight: Breaking Dawn.

The last HP movies are looking pretty good. Did you guys see the poster? When I first set my eyes upon it, I came buckets. And it's not just that it's a Harry Potter movie poster. There's something epic about it, in the finality of it. I mean, burning fucking Hogwarts? That's badass. And then "It all ends here"? Fucking awesome. Probably one of my favorite posters, right next to this and this.

I hope the last two can beat Half-Blood Prince. In terms of correct adaptation, it'll be easy, as HBP changed A FUCKING LOT (and not in a good way), but in terms of a good movie, I dunno. I thought HBP was the best movie since Chamber of Secrets (as Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets are probably the best of the whole series). That's how I judge these movie adaptations. "Are they good at following the original story?" and "Are they good movies?" Lord of the Rings? Good on both counts. Watchmen? Also good on both. New Moon? Correct adaptation, shitty movie. Prisoner of Azkaban? FUCK YOU, that was my favorite book and you shat all over it; bad adaptation AND band movie!

They are. The producers announced those plans right after HP7 was announced to be split, hahaha.
