I really liked Snake Eater. I admit that it's nowhere near as well-written as Sons of Liberty, but it's one that you can just pick up and play here and there.

My only complaint besides the story is how the survival viewer and camouflage disrupted gameplay. I thought camouflage would have been changed using the L2/ITEM select menu. Subsistence at least shaved some of the seconds it took to load the damn START menu.

I hated how every thing wasn't as fluid as the previous game was. SOL you can switch to items, start, codec on the fly without being hindered.
