Looks like there's some movement going around on a new edition of MGSV

Does this version include a plot?

RE: MGSV: Definitivistence - jdnation - 08-02-2016 05:18 PM

Plots for more Forward Operating Bases, yes.

Excellent. And higher-tiered Cardboard Boxes that take 70 real-time hours to build too?

RE: MGSV: Definitivistence - DarthCaligula - 08-03-2016 12:51 PM

Once you make that awesome cardboard box, you get a cutscene where Miller is walking around with his cane for about 10 seconds, then he sees DD pissing off the side of Mother Base. Miller tells DD to stop, so DD walks away, then Ocelot and Venom Snake walk over and Ocelot says "He's a dog, Kaz. He's just going to do what comes natural." Then Miller gets mad and walks away, while Ocelot and Venom Snake look at each other before walking off themselves.
AMAZING!

One last nickel and dime for the road huh

Too bad that wasn't the box art for The Phantom Pain. I loved how Ground Zeroes had Shinkawa's art on the reverse side, so why didn't The Phantom Pain?

Kojima was fired, and Shinkawa jumped ship too.

Not on last Gen. I guess it's not surprising. The absence of yearly DBZ shovelware is usually the final nail in a consoles life cycle. Would've been nice to have everything on a physical disc though.

In all truth, I am somewhat tempted to buy a Japanese version of this some day, if the PS4 works the same way as the PS3 and allows me to play Japanese games with no problem. Sure, there's barely a story in The Phantom Pain, but there are quite a few things that I would find interesting to compare, and I almost feel like I should just complete my Japanese collection of this series.

So did anyone get it?

Guess not...

Buy PSVR instead.

Konami's long term forward looking strategy stated VR would not be relevant, and pachislot was where the money is.

Prove them wrong.

Make Kojima happy.

Show your patriotism.
