The Fiddle Thread - Ex-President - 03-24-2014 12:13 PM

Game hasn't even been out a week. Imagine the videos a year from now.

Makes for a nice hip-hop mix.

I really don't get what the big deal is with this line, then again, I don't get why everyone thinks "It's a trap!" is so funny either.

Nice, game is really "ogre"!

That's the thing with memes these days; there's just something so inconspicuous about them to everybody else yet they get exploited and spread throughout the Interwebs. Maybe it takes a certain awareness of what makes something from a game, movie, or whatever else worthy of being made into a meme. In the case of this, it's a silly idiom at the wrong time & place and the voice didn't sound pissed off enough (lack of appropriate pitch & inflection, whatever).

Oh, and I don't get what's so great about "It's a trap!" myself. It came from Star Wars; maybe that's why. But I like the one from the first Max Payne best; it feels more appropriate. Just because it doesn't come from an epic classic doesn't mean it isn't effective.

I agree with the "It's a trap" line's popularity being weird. Kinda like how everyone's quoting The fucking Princess Bride all of a sudden and act like it's weird that I had never watched it up to a few months ago.

I'm laughing at that way more than I should.

you all realise now that when ever someone is lied to or deceived somehow, they are going to post miller on a fiddle quoting the meme

These videos are something that came out of a 2006 8 year old youtuber, fucking sucks

RE: The Fiddle Thread - Mexican Sting - 03-26-2014 12:04 AM
