HD Collection patch 1.02 makes EU users 1.02 times happier

Posted on May 04, 2012 07:31 am

Remember the grey screen of death? Since yesterday, it's no longer a problem as patch 1.02 was released for the European version of Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. Boxes appear properly on the conveyor belts in the parcel room at Strut E in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty while playing in SD resolution, and EU users can have box merry go round fun again.

This is official Konami response to (some of) those who sent an email to their customer support:

"Thank you very much for contacting the Konami customer support team.
Also thank you for taking the time to report an error to us.

We are very sorry about being so unresponsive, but we weren´t in the position to hand out any further information.

However, we've got good news for you now. A patch fixing the of you mentioned issue has been released already and you should be able to download it whilst starting Metal Gear Solid HD Collection using your Playstation3.

In case that the problem still persists, please let us know. Sorry for the inconvenience this issue might have caused.

Best regards,

Your Konami Support Team"

As 1.02 patches happened before, this is not to be confused with the US or Japanese 1.02 patches. Does it fix the other problems that were reported? Soup's user Tetsujin has stated that he had the sea lice appearing for the first time...
