  • Sokolov, by placing spies in the Silo Entrance and Plant. Once Snake reaches (but does not complete) the Launch Control Room, do the following:
    • Enter the Power Substation and interrogate everyone to find the Codec frequency 145.61.
    • Then (or go ahead and skip that and) go to the Silo Entrance, call 145.61, and find "X" on the map to find documents.

  • Eva after acquiring Raikov and Sokolov (both not by password).
    • Place spies in the Ravine. Then head to Silo Entrance and Campbell will tell you of a spy report. Interrogating one of the officers will have him mention of a man twirling revolvers chilling in an urban area. Abort mission and then you will get a spy report of a high-ranking official in Town.
    • Go to the Town at night and interrogate this official wearing a blue suit to find out that the revolver guy is at the Airport. DO NOT RECRUIT THIS MAN!
    • At the Airport, go to the third floor and interrogate the soldier there for Codec frequency 141.23. Abort mission and you will receive a Spy Report in regards to a government official at the Guest House.
    • At the Guest House, find the man in the blue suit in the northeast room of the northwest building and interrogate him not once, but twice. Abort mission and you will receive a report about a government official in the Western Wilderness.
    • In the Western Wilderness, find the official in the blue suit in the basement. Knock him out and recruit him.
    • Go to the Security Base and find the locker in the northwest building. Opening them up will have a codec frequency given to you. Abort mission.
    • Go to the Communications Base and call Eva on the communicator by going on the red target. Eva will tell you that she will arrive at the Airport in about a week.
    • Have around six and a half days pass by with the combination of entering and aborting missions, and delaying time. Then go to the Airport and head to the control room. Eva will call to tell you that she got shot down. Bummer. Abort mission.
