Solid Snake has had
enough running-on-electric-floors in Outer Heaven's 100th floor basement.
No more!

NIKITA
Missile Launcher
CONTENTS:
DESCRIPTION
Remote-Controlled missile.
The NIKITA Missile Launcher is very similar to the RC Missiles
Solid Snake uses in Operation:
Intrude N313 and Operation: Intrude F015 in that it's a weapon that can be maneuvered
upon firing the weapon. The missile self destructs when it runs out of it's limited
amount of fuel or if the NIKITA Missile Launcher is put away.
USE IN SHADOW MOSES
On his way to reach where Dr. Hal Emmerich is located, Snake finds out that his
path is blocked off due to the floor being run with an electric current. Just to
throw more shit at the fan, the hallways are filled with gas and there are several
camera-guns in place. Luckily for Snake, a NIKITA Missile Launcher is found nearby,
allowing him to guide a missile to the floor's control panel. The floor then becomes
safe to walk on. As for the gas and camera guns, he probably decided not to be a
pussy and run to the next room.
Snake may have used the NIKITA to take down oversized racist native Vulcan Raven.
USE IN THE BIG SHELL

After successfully destroying the control panel using the NIKITA, Raiden
runs on the unelectric floor to get groped by the President.
|
Raiden's mission to rescue President Johnson from The Big Shell was destined
to fail from the beginning. Olga activates an electric current on the floor of the
only way in the room Johnson is being held. Luckily for, well, nobody, Raiden has
had VR training with the NIKITA--more specifically, using it to guide a missile
to an electric floor's control panel. Apparently, FOX-HOUND has to deal with this
shit a lot, considering that it warrants a requirement in VR training.
Raiden finds a NIKITA missile launcher in the flooded area of the Shell 2 Core.
Raiden shoots a missile into a ventilation shaft and guides it into the room where
President Johnson is. Unfortunately, the President has no fucking clue as to what
the fuck is going on, so he freaks out and runs around like crazy. Raiden manages
to avoid blow up the control panel instead of the President, allowing him to continue
on his mission.
NIKITA THROUGH THE YEARS
Shadow Moses Incident (2005)

Metal Gear Solid (1998)
Upon firing the NIKITA, the player instantly sitches from controlling
Solid Snake to controlling the fired missile. The player can guide the missile
in third-person or first-person by holding the first-person-view button.
|
The Big Shell Incident (2009)

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (2001)
The NIKITA is very much the same in Sons of Liberty except that there
is no third-person view for the missile.
