USE IN SHADOW MOSES

Solid Snake plays dead, waiting for Johnny Sasaki to come back from the bathroom and go all fucking nuts.
When Solid Snake finds himself imprisoned during the Shadow Moses Incident in 2005, Otacon manages to reach his cell unnoticed by using Stealth Camouflage. While the guard, Johnny Sasaki, went to take care of some loose stools, Otacon hands Snake a Ration, a hankerchief, a keycard, and a bottle of Ketchup. Otacon assumed that Solid Snake would prefer to eat his ration with globs of ketchup over it.

Solid Snake however doesn't care for ketchup, at least on his rations. The ketchup, being somewhat old, has a look quite similar to that of fresh blood. It's alleged that Snake could have used the Ketchup to fool Johnny Sasaki into thinking that he died, which would have caused Sasaki to open the cell, rush in, and get his ass severely beat by Snake.

But who the fuck will believe that story?

  • Ketchup can be seen in the Dining Hall (Strut C) of The Big Shell in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.
