TGS 07: How to suck at MGS4, and how to suck at life

Continuing our coverage from Tokyo Game Show 2007, I have happy to see that somebody (JoyStiq) had the balls to videotape some gameplay from the well guarded demo.

However, I can't help but notice that whoever is playing the demo is playing it like it's... NOT Metal Gear.



To give the guy some credit, he could just be fucking around for the laughs. Hey, at least we have absolute proof that exclamation marks return!

What's more funny, though, are the responses. As you may know, I hate fanboys, and Guns of the Patriots has unfortunately been the target of fanboyfaggotry. Meaning that while it's is totally possible that Guns of the Patriots may suck, it not being on the Xbox 360 is the reason why it will suck to many. Likewise, it's apparently THEBESTGAMEEVER because it's on the PlayStation 3 to others.

I mean, I see people talking about how movies have better storylines than Metal Gear games (no shit), DualShock 3 will be bought separately (obviously, but who fucking cares?), how the environment looks very brown (because MGS did not look blue, MGS2 did not look orange, and MGS3 did not look green you fucking racist), how the trailer is totally CGI/prerendered (not true, but even if it was, who cares?), how Sony is evil (because Metal Gear = Sony all of a sudden), how anybody who liked Guns of the Patriots should use their hands for a controller instead of a men's magazine (because gaming > almost-naked girls by far), a guy who says that he loved Metal Gear for the NES (stopped reading his comments from there), and how Americans are stupid and should "go bad [sic] to Halo" (with even more horrible spelling and grammar).

Sure, the guy playing the demo might have sucked at the game, but fanboys still suck at life.

TGS 07: Shit about games you don't care about, but will buy!

Aside from Metal Gear Solid 4's whoring of TGS, Kojima did present the other, um, games if you will. There's some cool stuff here guys. Let's shoot them all out. Major Spoiler needs to get some sleep, am-i-right?

Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus was officially released today in Japan. Since only like two guy from Japan actually reads this site (you know who you are... I'm looking at you Kojima!), the only real news is that the official site for Plus is now available in English. Which means nothing, really.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Bande Dissinee (Digital Graphic Novel) will NOT be a waste of your money because it's not going to put you to sleep! Full voice acting will be included. Just to make extra sure that you fucking know that it's your money's worth, you will get the first Digital Graphic Novel with full voiceovers as well! Holy shit!

Also there's like a short trailer or some shit. Not worth watching because it's in Japanese and obviously that means we're not supposed to watch it.

Oh god damn it, there's still Guns of the Patriots news. Well, what the hell:

The demo for Guns of the Patriots isn't going to be on the PlayStation Network because Kojima probably read what I wrote and got seriously pissed. However, they will eventually do it before the game is released. What's wrong with tomorrow, guys?

In addition, while it was announced by Sony that Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Online would demonstrate the new DualShock 3 controller (SIX-AXIS with rumble... you know, the idea that Sony claimed was impossible?) but apparently some of these well guarded demo kiosks...


...don't have rumble. What the hell?

Aside from that, I'm guessing Guns of the Patriots, the final version, will support the DualShock 3, which will be released in November 2007 in Japan... and Spring 2008 everywhere else. Harsh.

EVERY TRAILER EVER. Which also includes the latest one known as the "TOO MUCH" trailer... EXCEPT IN ENGLISH! OH FUCK MY CAPS LOCK GOT STUCK. wAit i Got it now.
Some details about gameplay.

I have also uploaded the new English trailer on YouTube. Things to look for, besides the things I have already mentioned, and everything I illustrated--especially this:

3:30 - Otacon is a good detective.
4:41 - Outer Haven CONFIRMED!
5:40 - Coming Early 2008. Konami's webmaster/flash guy trolled you all.

The trailer will be available in 720p on the PlayStation Network tomorrow afternoon, around 2PM PST.

Oh, and the all new DualShock 3 controller (SIX-AXIS with rumble support) is confirmed to be working with Guns of the Patritos and Metal Gear Online. Whoops, almost forgot.

TGS 07: Guns of the Patriots out Winter 2007. Wait what?

What the fuck? Stop being a woman and make up your mind!

This is similar to the "TOO MUCH" TGS 2007 trailer's English script, in which Liquid says:


Is it a typo, or is there really an OUTER HAVEN?!?!? I mean, it is an actual word, and there are HAVEN TROOPERS!!!

Also, if anybody's bitching about Major Spoiler right now, eat a dick or something.

TGS 07: Monkey confirmed! Oh and the trailer got leaked.

Continuing our coverage from earlier, somebody realized that we live in 2007, and so they videotaped the new "TOO MUCH" trailer for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots... quite well actually. Then their server crashed because Metal Gear fans have no lives and freak out even over little things like the idea of Kojima eating a dick, let alone a NEW TRAILER OMG!

Luckily, you can still download and stream the trailer in several formats. See the source link! There's so much Major Spoiler in it that YOU will fucking cum.

The trailer is in full Japanese though, so you won't have any fucking clue what the fuck is going on. Last night, somebody took pictures of the trailer's script, which I have typed up here. This morning I illustrated some parts of the script. Use those to your advantage!

Things to look for in this trailer:
Some guy's head in the way of the Konami logo.
Naomi's cleavage.
MONKEYMONKEYMONKEY!
Sisqo.
